Type Locality

Stream, 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Swainsboro on U.S. Highway 25, Emanuel County, Georgia.

Range

Canoochee, Ogeechee, Newport, and Savannah river basins in southeastern Georgia.

Habitat

Streams.
