Brainstorm/Plan

Students create a plan or a brainstorm web. See Building Steps, #2

brainstorm web or plan:

  • is incomplete
  • does not show that the student planned ahead for creating their treehouse.
  • If students are partnering, does not show plans for each partners involvement
  • Same as 1 but there is more information to show that the student did some advance planning.
  • If students are partnering, shows some plans for each partners involvement
  • brainstorm web or plan shows student planned ahead for each section of their treehouse.

Same as 3. In addition it is evident that the student used their brainstorm web or plan to structure their page and to gather all materials ahead of time.

Working Together

  • Student either doesn't ask for help and does nothing, or always asks for help without first trying a task on their own.
